is a historical landmark in San Francisco. Once housing 1/3 of the entire U.S. gold, the building lies vacant waiting to be filled with a new tenant. The concept is to convert the whole mint into a museum that can teach its rich history. From smelting the gold to the old vaults on the ground floor, everything will remain as close as it was with adjustments to the attic level, where the offices for the historical society will be located. This historic resource will be used to teach the rich history of this landmark and proudly showcase a relic from another time.
